Exhibition Preparation is well underway…
There is only two weeks yesterday until my new Art Exhibition with Cindy Wilkins from Worldscape Imagery opens at the Strathnairn Arts Gallery in Holt, Canberra.
Preparations are going well, even with all the events that have appeared on the scene recently. At no time did I expect to be preparing for not one but three Art events early this year…its just been crazily and happily hectic!
The frames are one their way, so what more can I do then to sit back and….get a mad dash of inspiration and spend a day in my studio, blissfully with my trusted Gelliplates, printing away to my heart’s content…the only trouble now is to decide if I can squeeze a couple more works onto the gallery wall!
From Australian Trees to Rocks on the beach, if you follow my art you will know they are well loved inspirations and themes that return to my works time and again, although with this new approach and style of work, they are exploring a new pathway for my artistic practice, one which I have been able to enjoy the processes of both printing and drawing…..little wonder there is a smile singing in my heart at the moment!
