The Fires are warming everyone to keep them cosy while viewing Two Views – the exhibition which opened today…
It’s finally here – hard to believe that it’s now open. It’s been a mad busy preparation period and finally my latest exhibition “Two Views – An Interpretation of Australian Landscape, Flora and Fauna, opened today in Holt, Canberra.
The weather hasn’t been too enticing to brave the outdoors today, however, the fires are pumping
making a gorgeous setting for an afternoon cuppa and cake.
With 123 artworks to view, from miniatures to large scaled works, there is certainly a diverse range of works to enjoy.
It makes a great afternoon out with the kids or even a lovely brunch to catch up with friends. Are you aware of the beautiful new extensions which includes the sunroom? Perfect for Sunday brunch!
A new venture for my art practice, my mixed media Monotypes are exhibited alongside Australian themed photography. This will be the first time I will be exhibiting the monotypes, inspired by living in Australia and all it entails.
Add to this a new love of Monotype printing (thanks to Gelli plates), its has become a new direction which has enabled the combination of my fine line drawing into the printing plates that have emerged.
The official opening will be opened tomorrow
by Sue Taylor, Archibald finalist, 3.30pm at Strathnairn Arts Gallery Holt, Canberra.
We do hope you can make it!
It will be a catered event, and despite the colder weather, promises to be a lovely event – who doesn’t like wine and art by the fire?
