Missed Out on being at the Book Launch?

Join Us Tomorrow!

Thank you to everyone who joined the RSPCA ACT yesterday at the National Museum of Australia.

Due to the busy school holidays, Canberra’s Spring activities, including Floriade, many visitors missed out on the event due to difficult parking.

So you may be happy to hear that there will be another signing of the books, tomorrow at the RSPCA ACT Shelter,12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston ACT 2611  from 10am to 12pm.

Book Summary:

On 2 September 2015, RSPCA ACT rescued a huge, overgrown sheep in the Australian Capital Territory. After requesting help from the public to find a shearer, ‘Chris the Sheep’ became an international news sensation overnight, breaking a new Guinness World Record in the process. While his life after being rescued is well documented by the media, no one knows for sure what happened to Chris prior to this. This children’s book provides one possible explanation for how Chris became so big, with his adventure to share with kids of all ages!

Order your copy of the book here.

All proceeds from this book will help RSPCA ACT continue to protect, rescue, care and advocate for animals in need just like Chris and will assist with launching the RSPCA ACT’s new education program.

Were you able to make it to hear the story as told by Tammy? If not, you can see a preview of the book by clicking here.

Do you have a favourite part? Leave a message to let me know. It is wonderful to hear which part has already become a family favourite.

Hope to see some of you at the shelter tomorrow, and if not, enjoy the spring activities and have wonderful weekend everyone! ~ K
