The Point – New to Aarwun Gallery

It’s been a busy time getting everything prepared for the Twitter Art Exhibit (TAE18 AUS).

Even though I’m not finding much time to create in my studio at the moment, just before Christmas I was able to drop off my latest panoramic ink drawings to Aarwun Gallery.

This painting has been created using Archival pigment ink pens, Bamboo Dip Pens and brush by liquid Archival Pigment Ink on gorgeous thick 300gsm Fabriano Paper.

On a clear day it’s not hard to see the point of the Black Tower from most locations in Canberra. To some, seeing this point brings a sense of ‘welcome home’ when they have been travelling on various trips away.

I think that’s why I love to draw it from different perspectives, depending where I am standing at that moment.

The Point is one of the three works on paper that I delivered to the Aarwun Gallery, it is lovely to hear that a collector acquired it last week.

See others available at Aarwun Gallery here.

Check back soon to see the other drawings delivered at the same time, I’m hoping to share them with you soon! ~ K
