Stirato Gallery Group Exhibition ends this Saturday…..
This is the last week of the group exhibition currently showing at Stirato Gallery.
I have had the greatest pleasure to exhibit alongside eight talented Canberra Region artists. We all came together as a result of the Bluethumb Pop Up Exhibition – Field of Views.
Even though all of the artists are established artists, a lot of the group had never met before, which is unusual in Canberra. As a group of practicing artists, there is a great mix, we have full time practicing artists, exhibiting artists, artists who are involved in collectives and are also teachers. So there is always something to nut out or opportunities to dicuss when we come together.
We came together as the result of a call out from Bluethumb Art for their artists who would like to exhibit together in a pop up exhibition. What has resulted is a wonderful group of artists who are now supporting each other in our art practices.
Eight of the ten artists continued to exhibit at Stirato Gallery post the Bluethumb pop up. Many of us brought in new works, so if you haven’t visited since the pop up exhibition, then I encourage you to visit once more and see the newly hung works.
Don’t forget too that the family friendly Cafe is open downstairs, with plenty of tasty treats available and very good coffee!
A lot of the artists will be sitting the gallery over this last week, so pop in to have a chat and see the works in person.
