Call for Artists – Capital Chemist Cranleigh Art Show 2015

CAP Cranleigh School Art Show

Amongst the many Art Shows that Canberran Artists are fortunate to have is the Capital Chemist Cranleigh Art Show. Held at the Cranleigh School in Holt, Canberra, this annual Art Show is a great way to begin to show your work.

Cranleigh is a school providing educational programs for children with special needs. Each year the school nominates a project for the funds that are generated by the sales of the numerous works on show. This year the school will be hoping to raise funds to enable the transformation of decks surrounding the new buildings into a dynamic multi sensory environment.

Last year funds were raised to enable the building of the new sensory environment in the gym of the school.

The Art Show is now accepting entries for this years’ show. You can find more information about the school and how to enter by clicking here.

If you haven’t been before, add it to your yearly calendar. The Art Show promotes well known Canberra and regional artists and also showcases the artistic abilities of the students. Opening night is always a well attended event with great music and entertainment.

I first began showing at the Capital Chemist Cranleigh Art Show in 2009, it’s one that I look forward to being involved in each year.

This is a supportive community Art event, if you haven’t exhibited before, this is a great way to start whilst supporting a fantastic school and their students. Entries close September 29, 2015 – go on! Why not? ~ K
