There’s a Maggie on the Balcony…..
It’s that time again when David Sandum – on twitter as @DavidSandumArt and the team from the #twitterartexhibit come together to curate an amazing exhibition of postcards with the aim to do good and raise funds for a local Charity.
This year the exhibition will be curated by Isha Setia and will be held at Trygve Lie Gallery in NYC with all the proceeds being donated to Benefiting Foster Pride’s “Handmade” Program
A call out is made to the International Art Community for Postcards to be sent and donated to the exhibition. Each postcard is available for purchase for the redetermined price of $35.00 USD, of which the proceeds are then donated to the Charity of Choice, Foster Pride.
I have a very cute Magpie who loves to come and sit on my balcony and sing to me, so he was the muse for my entry….Maggie on the Balcony.
He came in for the first time after the strong winds and rain in December and now comes to sit and sing on my balcony of my studio – so cute!
I love participating in the @twitterartexhibit, its a great example of how art can make a difference in the world.
Below is my previous entries into the Exhibition, I’m not sure if they sold or not, but I like to hope so.
I look forward to seeing how the exhibition goes next month, have you entered the #twitterartexhibit or a similar exhibition before? Please share your experiences in the comments below… ~ K
