GOST Gallery Swap Group Exhibition launches tonight at 8pm!
What’s (almost) better then attending an opening? Sitting back and being able to view it from home, kicked back in your chair with a great cuppa, and it doesn’t stop at one exhibition, but two!
Tonight is the launch of the latest Group Exhibition that I was invited to participate in at The Corner Store Gallery. Those who have received their newsletter this week got a VIP preview of my two new artworks which will be included tonight.
Each gallery has swapped locations to exhibit their artists in the reciprocal gallery space. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic, a physical opening became not possible, so both Anne and Madeline adapted their exhibitions to an online platform which enables the Exhibitions to go on.
GOST Artists exhibiting at The Corner Store Gallery include: Sally Blake, Marilou Chagnaud, Kylie Fogarty, Hannah Gason, Michele Heibel, Anne Masters, Sarah Ormonde, Julie Pennington, David Suckling and Amanda Westley.
Both galleries will be launching their exhibition at 8pm tonight. Which is rather exciting! Galleries are among the small businesses who are supporting other small business, and finding these times challenging. This is a great example of how two Business women have adapted to ensure that while not having a physical opening is ideal, we can still embrace and access the arts.
Exhibiting artists at GOST: Paula Bartyzal, Jacqueline Chan, Helen Chegwidden, Inel Date, Jaq Davies, Nicolle Foxall, Aileen Francis, Jude Keogh, Elizabeth Klavins, Naomi Lawler, Robin Meiklejohn, Colleen Southwell, Domenica Russo, Madeline Young.
Each Exhibition runs from 16 April through to May 3, 2020.
For any enquiries please contact either Anne at Gallery of Small Things or Madi at The Corner Store Gallery. You can also email me with any questions too. I hope you can join us tonight at 8pm, you can catch updates on Instagram too.
