From the vault … RUST I – Mixed Media Monotype ….
Inspired by the Australian farmland, this Mixed Media Monotype Print in this series was created after considering an old abandoned farm trailer and the rust that had occurred as a result of being left in the elements. The lines within the rust where the wood was stained told stories for those who were interested to know…
Professional grade mediums and archival pen ink were used to create this one of a kind Monotype print. After pulling the paper off the plate by hand, I have then drawn the stories of the trailer via lines.
The print has been signed on the reverse of the Monotype print.
Rust i is the first in the series.
