Chris the Sheep sadly passed away today.
Chris became known when he was found wandering Mulligan’s Flat with a heavy coat which earnt him the world record having grown the heaviest fleece.
I had the absolute pleasure to bring him to life in form of illustration and creating the imaginations of his adventures as penned by Tammy Ven Dange. It was his cheekiness that immediately endeared him to me and there was a lot of laughter and delight as we discussed each of his adventures.

Although Chris wasn’t in the best shape when he was finally rescued, through the care of RSPCA ACT and the Little Oak Sanctuary who embraced him into their family of animals, Chris found good health and a loving home to live the last of his days.
RIP Chris, I will treasure the time I spent with Tammy Ven Dange bringing your personality to life with the RSPCA ACT.
