New Exhibition by Printmaker / Artist Jo Hollier – Process and Possibility
Printmaking has captured my intrigue and heart lately. As an avid drawer and artist who loves to sketch, this art process has opened a new horizon for my practice. So, how does one start being able to access information about this process and learn how to begin?

I have been attending workshops with local Canberran Printmaker / Artist Jo Hollier, who has a studio at Strathnairn Arts, Studio One, which I have immensely enjoyed. Jo offers workshops to all who are interested in learning Drypoint Etching, Collographs, Linoprints amongst others. If you are interested in finding out more on what workshops are available, visit her website at http://www.johollier.com/page13875.htm
Jo’s work is just beautiful, and I am really looking forward to seeing her latest body of work on Exhibit at the Belconnen Arts Centre next weekend. In this exhibition, Jo has taken an Artist’s retreat to Baldessin Press in Victoria, which has allowed her an opportunity to print large scaled woodblock monoprints.

The opening, by John Pratt is at 3.00pm Saturday 31st of August and will be in the foyer.
