Harvest Festival at Barton Estate this weekend

Barton Estate 2016 - Harvest Festival 2016 Kylie Fogarty Art

What a wonderful time of year Autumn is in Canberra. The weather is mild and entices you to explore the region, walks in the parks, days out at various celebrations, including the Canberra District Wine Festival – the 2016 Harvest Festival.

Barton Estate 2016 - Harvest Festival 2016 Kylie Fogarty Art (3)I spent last night with Mr F setting up for this weekend’s Harvest Festival days at the Barton Estate Winery, in Murrumbateman.

Julie and Bob will be opening the doors of the Cellar Door on both Saturday and Sunday April 9-10, you can read more on the Canberra Wines page to find out the specific details of the wines that Barton Estate will have available.

The Festival began on April 4, and ends this Sunday April 10. There are many amazing wineries in our region, and this is a great time to get on the trail and check them out.

For my many friends who love to snap a photo or two, the scenery at the vineyard is just amazing, it is a great place to visit for that reason alone!
