3 vintage cars (1917 – 1926), 3 months on the road, one great adventure travelling around Australia!
I’ve been quiet of late, mainly due to moving studio!
So it’s a really nice feeling to be able to get back into the swing of things and what better then to do it by drawing up an artwork for some amazing people who are on a mission to raise some funds for the Angel Flight Australia?
I am often contacted to create a drawing for specialised cards for that one of a kind occasion, whether it’s a wedding, figurative drawing, pet portraits or more recently, for some generous people doing amazing things, all for the good of others.
The Morayfield & District Lions Club are supporting a project to help raise awareness and much needed funds for Angel Flight Australia.
Michelle Kroll, from Another Happy Customer Photography (http://www.ahcphoto.com.au), kindly invited me to be the artist to create an artwork for the cards which will be sent to all those who support this fantastic endeavour.
How fantastic! Can you imagine driving over 3 states in vintage cars?
Not to mention the fact that they will also be towing a gorgeous teardrop caravan (and those who know me know how much I love caravans!) to be camped wherever it fits best at the time..(hmmm the thought alone, I feel another caravan or two coming into fruition on my canvases!)
If you would like to know more about the charity drive, you can find the Model T Adventure team on facebook https://www.facebook.com/ModelTadventure/timeline to follow them on their travels or you can find out more on their website: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/news-flash-model-t-circumnavigates-australia
For those of you who have not had the need to call on Angel Flight and would like to know more, you can visit here…http://www.angelflight.org.au to read about all the amazing things and life saving trips they make every year here in Australia.
The artwork will be used as an image for the thankyou cards for all of those who generously donate much needed funds to make the trip a reality.
One lucky donor will be the recipient of the original artwork!
So please if you can send a little support to the T17 team or even pop out to say g’day if you happen to be on their itinerary – I’m sure they’d love to say hello!
