Cranleigh – Capital Art Show 2013
The Cranleigh – Capital Art Show will once again be held on the third weekend of October 2013. This year the show will be opened by Robyn Archer AO, Centenary of Canberra Creative Director.
I have been entering this show for quite a few years now and it is one that I love being involved with. Cranleigh is a school for students aged 3-12 years who have moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, including students with physical and complex issues. Each year a need is identified for the school and this year the Cranleigh-Capital Art Show hopes to raise money to establish a specialised music program for the students of the school.
Well known on the Artist Calender in Canberra, the show is held annually at Cranleigh School in Holt, for the purpose of raising money for the school and promoting well known Canberra and regional Artists. The show also showcases the abilities of the students of the school.
This art show has categories not only for 2D art but also provides an Artisan Gallery for Craft, Sculpture, Ceramics and Textiles. For more information about how to enter this year please visit http://www.cranleighps.act.edu.au/art_show/information_for_artists
