Christmas Shopping Artisan Style at the Belconnen Arts Centre…
Who can believe Christmas is just a little more than one month away? Wow this year has flown!
If you are like me, you try to get your Christmas gifts organised as early as possible to avoid the need to brave the crowds come the last week before Christmas Day.
Why not enjoy an afternoon perusing the high quality artisan wares on offer at the Belconnen Art Centre’s annual Christmas Art Market.
From Fine Food, such as Gingerbread Houses to Linoprints, Art Inspired by Babushka Dolls and Hand Woven Bags, not to mention the Original Art, there will be something for everyone, including the special someone who always trips you up when deciding what to get them each year.
Carole Osmotherly (http://www.osmotherly.com) and I will once again be there with our stall, we will have our Original Art and Fine Art Prints on offer. From Miniature ACEOS, Cards, to Original Silk Paintings and Scarves, Monotype Prints and Original Paintings, our stall will hold a myriad of options for consideration.
It’s a great time to shop local and support Living Artists, while enjoying the entertainment that will be performing on the day. This is such a beautiful Christmas Market, held at Twilight while overlooking Lake Ginnenderra.
The Christmas Celebration Market will be held this weekend, Sunday November 23 from 1-6pm
at the Belconnen Arts Centre, 188 Emu Bank, Belconnen ACT. You can find out more from their website http://www.belconnenartscentre.com.au/whatson/christmascelebrationmarket.html
